Student Participants

1. Purpose

The 3 Minds Learning Student Code of Conduct establishes clear behavioral expectations for all students participating in our programs, workshops, and events.

Our programs are designed to promote leadership, collaboration, responsibility, and personal growth. A safe and respectful environment is essential to achieving this mission.

All students are expected to uphold the standards outlined below.

2. Core Values

Students are expected to demonstrate these values in their interactions, participation, and decision-making.

3. Expectations for Student Conduct

While participating in any 3 Minds Learning program, students are expected to:

Respect Others

  • Treat peers, instructors, staff, and guests with courtesy and dignity

  • Listen when others are speaking

  • Use appropriate language at all times

  • Respect differences in identity, opinion, background, and ability

Follow Instructions

  • Follow facilitator directions promptly

  • Participate safely in all activities

  • Respect established program guidelines

Maintain Safety

  • Engage in activities in a safe and responsible manner

  • Avoid behavior that could cause harm to themselves or others

  • Report safety concerns to an instructor immediately

Respect Property

  • Handle materials, tools, and equipment responsibly

  • Respect shared spaces

  • Avoid intentional damage to property

Demonstrate Accountability

  • Take responsibility for actions

  • Accept feedback and redirection

  • Make appropriate choices during group activities

4. Bullying, Harassment & Discrimination

3 Minds Learning maintains a zero-tolerance approach to bullying, harassment, discrimination, or intimidation.

Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Verbal insults or threats

  • Social exclusion or intimidation

  • Physical aggression

  • Derogatory comments related to identity, background, or personal characteristics

  • Online harassment connected to program participation

Any behavior that creates an unsafe or hostile learning environment will be addressed promptly.

5. Physical Aggression & Threatening Behavior

Physical aggression, threats, or conduct that compromises the physical or emotional safety of others will not be tolerated.

This includes:

  • Hitting, pushing, or physical altercations

  • Throwing objects in a harmful manner

  • Threatening statements

  • Actions that endanger others

Such behavior may result in immediate removal from an activity and further intervention in accordance with the Behavioral & Dismissal Policy.

6. Technology & Personal Devices

If personal devices are permitted, they must be used respectfully and in accordance with program guidelines.

Instructors reserve the right to restrict device use if it interferes with participation, safety, or the learning environment.

7. Attendance & Participation

Students are expected to:

  • Arrive on time

  • Participate respectfully in structured activities

  • Remain within designated program areas unless otherwise instructed

Students may not leave the program area without instructor permission.

8. Partnership with Parents & Guardians

Parents and guardians play an important role in supporting positive participation.

Families are encouraged to review this Code of Conduct with their student prior to participation.

Shared expectations help maintain a consistent and supportive learning environment.

9. Alignment with Behavioral Policy

Failure to meet the expectations outlined in this Code of Conduct may result in intervention in accordance with the 3 Minds Learning Behavioral Intervention & Dismissal Policy.

Our goal is always to support growth while protecting the safety and wellbeing of all participants.

Teacher & Adult Participants

1. Purpose

This Code of Conduct establishes professional and behavioral expectations for all adult participants in 3 Minds Learning programs, including teacher workshops, professional development sessions, masterclasses, and special events.

3 Minds Learning is committed to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and professionally structured learning environment. All adult participants are expected to uphold the standards outlined below.

3 Minds Learning pro series programs are grounded in:

  • Professional Integrity

  • Psychological Safety

  • Accountability

  • Inclusion

  • Ethical Conduct

Adult participants are expected to demonstrate these values in their engagement, communication, and conduct throughout the program.

3. Professional Conduct Expectations

All adult participants must:

  • Treat facilitators, staff, and fellow participants with professionalism and respect

  • Engage constructively in discussion

  • Refrain from interrupting, dominating, or dismissing others

  • Use appropriate and professional language

  • Follow facilitator guidance and program structure

  • Respect established time boundaries and participation guidelines

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with professional educational and workplace environments.

4. Harassment, Discrimination & Hostile Conduct

3 Minds Learning maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or hostile conduct.

Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Verbal abuse or aggressive language

  • Intimidation or coercion

  • Discriminatory remarks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics

  • Sexual harassment

  • Retaliation against any participant who raises concerns

Any conduct that creates a hostile or unsafe learning environment will result in immediate intervention.

5. Psychological Safety & Confidentiality

Adult programs may involve reflective dialogue, case discussions, and professional sharing.

Participants agree to:

  • Maintain confidentiality of personal or sensitive information shared during sessions

  • Avoid sharing identifying details of other participants outside the program

  • Respect diverse perspectives and lived experiences

Creating a psychologically safe environment is a shared responsibility.

6. Intellectual Property & Materials

All curriculum materials, slides, recordings, handouts, frameworks, and digital resources remain the exclusive intellectual property of 3 Minds Learning.

Participants may not:

  • Record sessions without express written permission

  • Reproduce or distribute materials

  • Share password-protected resources

  • Upload materials to external platforms

  • Use materials for commercial purposes without authorization

Unauthorized use may result in removal from the program and further action where necessary.

7. Technology Use

If devices are permitted during sessions, they must be used in a manner that does not disrupt the program or compromise participant privacy.

Unauthorized recording of sessions is strictly prohibited.

8. Compliance with Venue & Institutional Policies

When programs are hosted at schools, boards, or community venues, adult participants must comply with:

  • Host institution policies

  • Venue codes of conduct

  • Applicable safeguarding standards

Failure to comply may result in removal.

9. Removal from Program

3 Minds Learning reserves the right to remove any adult participant whose conduct:

  • Disrupts the program

  • Compromises the safety or wellbeing of others

  • Violates this Code of Conduct

  • Breaches safeguarding standards

  • Infringes on intellectual property protections

Removal decisions are made at the sole discretion of 3 Minds Learning.

No refund will be issued in cases of removal due to misconduct.

10. Alignment with Organizational Policies

This Code of Conduct operates in conjunction with:

  • Refund & Withdrawal Policy

  • Child Safeguarding & Abuse Prevention Policy

  • Terms of Use

By registering for a program, participants acknowledge and agree to comply with these standards.
